Rain

This is as far as I ventured today to the window, although warm for the time of year its certainly wet, although if I have to choose is a much better option than snow. Eeks the house seems so quiet without D and soon it will be a tidy house. He arrived safely but said he felt confused by the chaos - hmmm if he feels confused at the airport of his homeland then there is no chance for us as tourists when we visit :)

Must catch up on comments coz since my brother fitted a new DVD drive onto my PC I've been uploading documents like there is no tomorrow taking full advantage of 6 months free subscription on Ancestry. One of their new sets of records is international shipping records and I have been able to follow my great uncle on a voyage by voyage basis from the 1920's - he was a Merchant Seaman just like dad was.
