Heathrow Terminal 5

This is the Christmas tree at Terminal 5 which I spied when I took D to the airport.

OMG what a day can you believe D's case weighed over 30kg and we had to repack at the airport and it was weighed at least 4 times before it was ok (ok so i didn't notice that there is a repack area with scales until it was too late) luckily he had a much smaller cabin sized suitcase which soon became really really heavy. I managed to rearrange everything except for a 2kg bag of cat biscuits he'd insisted on taking and that went with him just in a plastic bag - ok so the cats will love him but what happens when the bag is empty??

I'll be counting the days until he's back. It was heartbreaking listening to him tell Apache that he'd miss him (he didn't know I was downstairs he thought I was still in the compter room) loads.
