Blowing a hooley

We have never ever had a New Year in Cornwall quite so windy - and I dont mean because of the Christmas sprouts either!!!! We all had a little bit too much to drink last night (well not the kids!) so it was a bit slow going this morning. We had planned a trip to Tintagel but thought it safest to not drive, so we went a humoungous hike instead........to a pub called The Lewannick Arms the other end of Fistral overlooking and Crantock.

Gorgeously refreshing walk that blew away the cobwebs and worked up an appetite.

We then all had a snoozette before having dinner tonight. No wifi on my iPad so me and Si have come over to the posh hotel from the cottage. There is a black tie do on here at the mo and Casper keeps barking at all the posh people.........oh and Stanley just did a wee up the sofa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously......he never does that and he chooses now to Mark his territory!

The Blip is taken from the other side of Fistral and you can see the hotel - we are in one of the cottages to the left.......

Early night tonight as we are off out tomorrow. Will catch up with your Blips over the next few days......not long till next year :)
