It's a hard rain
Snatched a day time blip at lunchtime today. Had the idea that I'd go for a short walk, but it was tipping down.
I'll read the composition book a bit more tonight and give the 12x4 format a rest for a few days. It is easy to look at, maybe more like how we look at the world than other formats, and common in this digital era. I think filling the frame artfully is quite a challenge though. It's too easy to shoot and crop after the event - I think I need to fill the frame when shooting more thoughtfully. Arranging the elements in the frame when stitching the panorama is currently beyond me - more trial and error. Maybe I'll learn something if I read past page 6.
Anyway despite the long day, and the rain, I'm glad I'm not a sheep.

It's hard rain that's gonna fall."
