Guesto House today.
Some years ago the house was destroyed by fire. The ruin has remained here ever since surrounded by Ash and Beech trees. The recent gales have blown over many of these trees. This thinning of the trees now makes it easier to photograph the house with Guesto Bay & Loch Harport beyond.
It was very windy today with heavy showers of Hail and sleat. However in between we were getting spells of bright sunshine. When I took this we were about to get more sleat. It was jolly cold and I regret I could not wait for the next spell of sunshine.
