Texture

We were on a mission today...having covered so much ground over the first few days we decided to add an additional leg to the trek. This meant that we needed to walk like demons, which we did! We were heading pretty much downhill all the way so we just legged it...walking, jogging, jumping and stopping for nothing...other than the odd hot drink of tea! En-route we came across some local guys who were re-building the path by hand...chipping the stone from the rocks and moving them by hand to secure the path. Utterly awesome craftsmanship.

These stones were in the river bed running down the valley...I thought they were rather beautiful, hence the choice of blip!

Fell in to my sleeping bag with tired legs and a tummy full of soup...I wonder if Santa will find us?!
