What a fun day it was!

My friend Hilary came to visit Richmond and we had a great time exploring around the city. We wandered amongst the reindeer herds downtown and got lost driving through the fan district looking at funky Xmas lights.

We saw the latesst Woody Allen movie, Midnight in Paris in the gorgeous old facades of the Byrd Theater and we shared a heaping meal of seafood at one of my favorite foodie spots in the city.

It's so nice to show a friend around "my city". And in saying that, for the first time feeling some feeling of kinship and pride with it....
