Fight!

Well its very blowy today. Took doggies for a plod round the loch and almost got blown away! Came home and hubby discovered his car tax was due at end of this month! Major panic! no reminder! however we had the MOT and the Insurance, duly taxed his car for me only to discover later that mine was also due its tax! Will have to do it tomorrow, God Im rooked between Christmas and car taxes we are going down the Swaney!
When I took the dogs out today a fight broke out between Abbie (XBorder/Patterdale) and Pene the lab pup. Don't know what started it but Abbie had Pene by the throat in a water-logged ditch and looked for all the life she was trying to drown her! I had to intervene and give Abbie a row and poor muddy Pene had to have a shower when she came home!

Got news one of our Dutch friends is ill with some form of cancer. Why can't they get a cure for it? On Christmas week I lost a friend who was only 52, my pal's mother early 60's, and now another friend from Amsterdaam has it.
I am sure there must be a cure out there somewhere! Lets all pray that 2012 sees them finding a cure or at least knowing for sure what causes this infernal illnes!
