Surprise!

Merry Christmas!

This morning after the kids had opened all the Santa presents we had a surprise for them. Their present from us was something we'd led them to believe we simply couldn't afford over the last few months. A trip to Florida!

In fact we've had it booked since May but decided it was far far too long to deal with "how many sleeps?" and decided we'd tell them at Christmas.

Their reaction wasn't quite as I expected, and in hindsight maybe Christmas is just too overwhelming as it is without springing this on them too. They did like their Mickey and Minnie though!
