Oops!
What happens when you end up having too good a time, is you completely forget to take any photos! DOH!
Spent most of the day (enjoyably) slaving over a traditional Turkey Roast. Haven't had a roast in the 7ish months that I've been here.
So apart from enjoying a little bit of home at Christmas, I was looking forward to roasted & mashed spuds, roasted Carrots (couldn't find any Parsnips :( ), Broccoli & Cauliflower, homemade stuffing and gravy in their own right.
Dan & Ima (travelling round Mexico shooting video & photography) and Eric & Quetzali (my Blues-playing-pal & his señorita) were joining myself & Sandra in the wee feast.
I was delighted, when people were both surprised by the spread laid before them (no fear of anyone having too little!!) and by how good they found the food. The gravy and the roast spuds were the big hits from the meal. Though everything was lovely (even if I do say so myself). Having a choice of two types of Turkey (Herb & Lime Encrusted & Smokey-Bacon -Wrapped) didn't make any enemies either!
It was a great evening of good food & grand chat (oh, there may have been a little bit of liquor taken too). So much so, it was only after all the guests had left, that I realised I hadn't taken photos of anything at all.
So, that's why you have a simple, wee shot of some lanterns Sandra had placed on the terrace to brighten it just a little. You'll just have to take my word for all of the above!!
