Wee traditions.

Dad passing out the Christmas presents in the morning, before we head out to church, is an even more ingrained family tradition than his carving of the Christmas turkey when we return.

The Santa-hat is optional. The Christmas music is not.

Now, after what was certainly the best of this year's three Christmas dinners, several glasses of wine, a mountain of washing up, and an hour's stroll to unwind after, I thought I'd share this slice of our day.

I hope you've all enjoyed your own wee family traditions. Today of all days is one to indulge in them, alongside remembering the beginning of a family that started all of this off.
