Waiting
Santa's been! 5 stockings and 2 Santa hats, full of ....well I guess I know what. You can just see, to the left, my cross stitch Santa Claus that took me ages to do and comes out every year. Looking at this I think gold candles would have been better in the silver candlesticks, I may change them.
Early blip in case in gets too hectic later. It's a bright day, windy but no snow! The e-mail in-box is full of 'sale started' e-mails and I haven't even opened the presents yet.
#3 son and F are still sound asleep - they are on sprout duty! (Remember the days when they used to get up at 5.30 to see if Santa had been and Dave sat in his dressing gown, surrounded by a sea of wrapping paper, making a list of who gave what for the thank you letters and I took photos. Long gone). No word from #2 son will be here shortly, on the hunt for a phone charger. He says he still has to find and wrap my present. #1 daughter in law and son are preparing to entertain 15 in far away KL. So it's just me and Molly. No point thinking of the past - the journey continues.
'The children are sleeping, the turkey awaits' so in the immortal (and much repeated) words of Noddy holder
IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!
Have a great one.
