Bread sauce made - check (bit curdled, think it's the semi skimmed milk, Delia says use creamy, but it will taste ok)

Turkey stuffed and cooked - check (family my tradition, do it on Christmas Eve, less stress and hassle on THE day)
Prezzies wrapped and under the tree - check
Stockings filled - check (said I wasn't going to do them this year, but as usual my minimalist plans grew)
Trifle and buche de noel done as far as the cream - check
Foie gras in the fridge - check
Booze brought up from the cellar - check
mince pies made and tasted - check
'Once in Royal David's City' from King's - check
So that's it then, not much more to do till tomorrow - potatoes, sprouts, lay table, open presents, eat, drink and be merry!
Caught up with C in Huntly tonight. I'd managed to mix up the Christmas card but it was better to talk. She's had a year of chemo and ops and more to come but she sounds very cheerful.
After my day in the kitchen hoping M and F will cook tonight (mmmm!) and then off to the Watchnight at 11.
