Some Christmas!

Phew! Finally home! It has been a long day!

Christmas Eve is 'the main day' in a Danish Christmas. We open our Christmas presents on Christmas Eve too.

My friend Helle and I met in the morning to train dogs and to take them for a walk. Then Helle went home to her family and I went to my parents' home. My dad had a lovely Christmas dinner ready for me. We had hardly started eating though, when my mum suddenly got very unwell. She deteriorated quickly and was rushed to hospital by ambulance.

We spent 4 -5 hours in different hospital wards. Just home now, feeling exhausted... My mum has been admitted to a neurological ward. I hope there is good news about her tomorrow. She did look better when we left her.
