Hunting for raccoons, squirrels, and deer

My plan was to plant myself in the woods for a long period of time so that I could get some great shots of wildlife. I especially love raccoons and picked the perfect spot to set up so that I had a good view of the old hollow coon tree and the corner of the field so that I could see any deer that might happen to wander by. Despite a wet hind end and extremely wet conditions, I was still able to sit very still and didn't see one single critter in over an hour! I was sure that I was going to get a cute shot of some animal, but they weren't feeling like cooperating so I snapped this picture of the big oak tree on the way back up to the house.
