Meow.....

After seeing a new blippers first entry yesterday of a banks cool door furniture it reminded me i always meant to go back to water street in Liverpool to photograph this beast on an old bank building!

Its got a huge pair of double doors with a bronze lions head at eye height on either door. Its hard to tell from the shot but the head is over 2ft tall and the doors are 12ft high!

I love the fact that despite the absolute crap that the city council allowed to be built in the 1960's and 70's liverpool still has a lot of these beautiful old buildings that have been preserved.
