Taste is truly in the Mouth of the Beholder!

Apollo models the latest in chewy-dog-bone paraphenalia!

Since he's been given this treat, which is supposed to help clean his teeth, it has hardly been out his sight mouth. He brings it everywhere he goes in the house.

He is always looking for places to hide it too, it certainly has brought out the inner tunneller in him. Ho Hum!

It was originally a lovely, golden, classic, bone shaped thing. However, in the space of a week, it has unravelled into a long, damp, spit-drenched , dirt-crusted, snake of a thing.

What you see in the photo is only the tip of it. The rest of it was actually swallowed and half-way down to his stomach. Which I only found out when I went to take it out of his mouth to take a nicer photo and it just kept coming and coming out of his gob!

One of the grossest sights, I've ever seen. He loves it though, and will chew it into oblivion. At which, point the cycle of destruction will begin again w/another.
