Oh, Christmas Tree

The roofers tell me they'll be finished by Friday. I'll miss Stevie and the gang, but it will be so much quieter in the morning. Don't know when the scaffolding will go though.

Off to one of her Ladyship's favourite purveyors of coffee and fine pieces, the ex c0-op, to meet L. Breakfast was a fruit scone and jam and a flat white. Lunch (late afternoon as I tried to snatch decide on Christmas presents before the chiro) was mincemeat viennese, clotted cream and americano. What happened to the healthy diet?

Home to play 'hunt the things I put away in a safe place' - again ... I am hating this not being able to find anything, but at least the hall is reclaimed no more pots of paint and ladders, till the new year that is. Not finished - merely 'on hold'.

I should have cooked a meal for friends H and I up from Engerland but I was just too tired so they took pity on me and, after inspecting the work and discussing lofts, it was off to 'Toast' for prosecco, scallops and black pudding and lemon mousse, MMM...

This is the tree, the only decoration up so far, apart from the cards. It's a bit a back blip, because I wanted to crop it and try out some Lightbox stuff, otherwise it would just have been a boring old tree. Lightbox does some really interesting effects, shame the camera on the phone isn't that wonderful.
