This year's production!

I don't do really fancy cake decorating, it has to be simple and quick. This year it's white marzipan only and cut out stars. They have some silver balls on so everyone has to be warned not to crack their teeth! When I brought the cake in to the living room to show the finished results I couldn't help but smile when I noticed Bracken in the background giving me the eye and just 'chilling out'.
Apart from a very irritating tickly cough I'm heaps better. Could do with a good night's sleep though. Preparations are now well in hand, getting ready for K to arrive. Made a trifle, a Christmas favourite. Had a walk in the afternoon, it's almost unseasonally mild but glad not to have the ice and snow knowing lots of folk are travelling by car. Looking forward to a relaxed evening, hope you are all relaxed too!
