Countdown to Christmas..

...is on. Well and truly. I can't believe it's only a few sleeps away - it certainly doesn't feel like it. This year has absolutely flown! The majority of my Christmas present are wrapped and under the tree, there's lights and Christmas trees everywhere, there's Christmas lunches/parties - it certainly seems festive, but it doesn't actually feel like it. Especially since it's the warmest winter in over a hundred years or something ridiculous. I checked the weather and it's to be about 12 degrees on Christmas day. That's almost tropical - and that's saying something, I am Australian!

Today's blip is a little unimaginative, yet I wanted a picture of this at some point. I work just around the corner from here and admire the Christmas trees every night as I finish work and walk past it. It looks so festive!
Today seemed like a perfect time to take a picture of it - I have been grumpy, miserable and uninspired the last couple of days (hence no picture yesterday) and haven't felt like using my camera at all.

Spirits to soar from here though - having fish and chips with the girls for lunch tomorrow, Mexican for lunch on Friday, and then the Christmas festivities will commence! Happy times ahead! :)
