Rainy days and Mondays .....

Woke this morning to a grey, wet and miserable day. Refected aptly in how I feel, my cold has progressed and I could have given in and stayed in bed all day. However, upward and onward, no need to rush around anyway. Managed to bake a couple of cakes needed to give as gifts to neighbours. The fire is now lit and I am sitting tight with my new tapestry. I haven't worked on one for at least a year and this one is full of vibrant colours, cheers me just looking at it!
Supposed to be reading at our community sing-along in the village hall this evening. I think a dose of paracetamol might just see me through an hour, I hate to miss out.
