Golf

Poor Jo had to go to work today. Mum and I went Christmas shopping. While we were out the golf shop called me to tell me that the ladies 5, 7, and 9 irons were in.

So I took Mum along to the golf shop to collect them and the secret was out. Mum got an early Xmas present which was always the plan anyway. How would she be able to play golf otherwise?

When we got home I gave Mum her other two presents, A putter, a 5 wood and a 3 wood. She was a bit overwhelmed.

After that we went to the driving range for some practice. I didn't even bother taking my clubs. I tried Mums. Both of us hit the ball fairly well.

This evening Mum made a delicious dinner. I retired to the shed afterward and did some forging.

It's been a biiiig day and I think that both me and Mum are dead tired. More of the same tomorrow.
