evening sea

Today has seen glorious sunny weather. Hubs, Y and I went to Skibbereen farmers market and had a lovely nose around and got lots of locally made pressies. Bumped into several friends and listened to Christmas carols from a mother and son (about 11 yrs) on the tenor recorders. Y and I discovered girlie paradise and spent a happy hour trying on dresses & fluffy jackets
I took several photos in the sunshine and they were rather over exposed. Me and the camera are so very out of the habit of sunshine! So i decided to go with an early evening beach shot. The beach was full of sea weed that the gales of last week brought in, I climbed over several feet of it to get of the shore and discovered it was alive with little pied wagtails picking through for something tasty that escaped me and the camera.
Going out to a gig in Connollys' in Leap tonight. Lots of friends, Xmas cheer and excitement I hope.
