Plant a Card

This is one of a range of hand made cards from Banyoles.

Made of cotton they are impregnated with seeds, in this case camomile, the idea being that once the festive season is over you plant them in the garden and watch as the seeds germinate into life.

Seems a good way to re-cycle and prolong life, and as the cards are sold to benefit charity too by volunteers ticks a lot of boxes.

I found them in a small but lively Christmas fair in Banyoles, sold on behalf of Moli de Aquari de Banyoles, but I am sure they are available elsewhere.

I will try and remember to keep updates coming on the quality of the plants, varieties include coriander, poppy and delphinium. Nice idea, no?
