Bad cookie!

We were at a friend's house last night for an early potluck celebration of Husband Dear's birthday. While we were there, our friend was baking a double batch of her special Christmas cookies which she gives to her parents each year. Little Man was very eager to help, so he was asked to place Hershey Kisses on each cookie immediately after they were baked so that the chocolate would melt slightly and adhere to the cookie. All was well, until he got to the last one, and burned his writs on the lip of the cookie sheet. This is the Pulitzer Prize winning shot of the incident. :-)

The burn was tiny and not at all serious; no children, cookies, or Kisses were harmed while taking this picture.
