Winter Sun
The day started with the snow and the kids were talking about building a snowman. By early afternoon, the rain had washed away the snow and then the sun came out.
I took this photograph as a positive image of the sun's power throughout the year and although the plant life has receeded for the winter, it is ready to flourish again in the spring.
My dad was rushed into intensive care this morning as his body struggles to cope with the third major abdomenal surgery in five weeks. His kidneys and heart were not performing as they should and we got the dreaded "come to the hospital now" call from the hospital. Thankfully he has stablised but is very much still in a critical condition.
Positive energy required so this image seems rather poignant.
