The Day After Joachim

We now have a lake south of town!
And a big one! It continues to the left for about 1 1/2 km before being stopped by a road embankment.

Storm Joachim sure changed the appearance of the Landstuhler Bruch.
I'm used to seeing the Bruch either green or foggy. Now it's water!

Joachim went its ways and the sun was out in the morning. In the late afternooen the rain came back and is now feeding our little lake again...
The temperature is dropping. If that continues, we can go ice skating soon.
