ZSL - Penguin Beach

We spent the day at London Zoo with Nick, Nibs, Leanne, Stuart and Louis.

We saw penguins, otters, giraffes, gorillas, monkeys, reptiles, lion cubs, tigers, okapis, camels, loads more,  and had a fabulous day. 

Louis is only two and fought and fought against his afternoon nap in the pushchair. I'd forgotten what that's like. In the end he fell asleep, and snored so loudly he literally turned heads wherever he went.  He's always like that apparently. Nibs and I laughed so uproariously in the monkey walk that we scared the monkeys and earned some evil glares from a woman in a santa hat, which didn't seem a very festive attitude to us! 

We walked and walked and walked and are all exhausted. The children are going to mums tonight, and Chris and I are going to dinner at Sue and Fred's. Am planning on having a very long lie in tomorrow.
