New Mexico- Canyons and Mesas

Wow! We woke up to snow and jaw dropping views of canyons and wide vistas. This is proper 'Wild West' country, there are cliffs and caves and trails everywhere. We walked along a mesa top to see spectacular views, walking through the snow past cactus!

After the walk we stopped by Sylvan's Mum and Step Dads house to enjoy their outdoor hot tub, complete with stunning views of the canyon!

Dinner was a stuffed sopaipilla new mexican style and I discovered that I'm a green person. That means green chili, you can get red, green or christmas which is a mixture of both.

In the evening we headed down to the local bar and drank beer with Sylvan and Andrew's friends including Erika from America, a really nice way to spend the evening!

Amazing day.
