Making fire- New Mexico

We flew from LA to Albuquerque and landed in fog. It was brilliant to see our good friend Sylvan again and have the chance to get to know her boyfriend Andrew better.

We'd been told the views around their beautiful house in Los Alamos were incredible, but we couldn't see anything through the dark and fog! Andrew had recently returned from a survival course and demonstrated the fire making technique he'd learnt to get the log fire going. This was our first day of winter this year and we were feeling it!

Great to catch up with good friends and we looked forward to seeing the views in the morning.
