Day sixty-three: rose-colored glasses

The sunset on my way home from work was simply beautiful. All the pinks and oranges whisking in the sky reminded me of the beautiful sunsets in El Paso. I smiled, and, as I continued to drive, I raised my sunglasses to get a better look at the sunset. I found that the sunglasses actually made the sunset much more vibrant and joyous.

I smiled and put my sunglasses down as I continued to drive. I pulled over to take a shot of the sunset, both with and without my glasses.

Our perspectives can change how we view things and what we see. It isn't always easy to see our glasses half full or put on our rosy glasses, but it will change the vibrancy of what we see.

I'd rather see things through the glass half full, soaking in the beauty of a sunset rather than focusing on what is lacking from the moment.
