The Chinese Lions Christmas Party

Not a great Photo, but an interesting evening. I went to the Chinese Lions Christmas Party, invited by my registrar at work. The food, which seemed to involve about 15 courses was fresh and very flavoursome, with I'm sure, no MSG. It was a mixture of cultural activities: the Australian national anthem being sung very proudly by Chinese migrants, belly dancing by Chinese teenagers, Santa Claus, raffles, speeches and a disco!!
My boss and I were a little embarrassed to be named guests of honour and we are not sure why we were given this acolade. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and this photo shows the belly dancers in full swing.
