Floods Bridge-of-Allan

You could be forgiven for thinking that this is a paddy field in the Far East, but it is our local allotments in Bridge-of-Allan flooded once again.

This area between Stirling and Bridge of Allan is notorious for flooding and to-night Bridge of Allan Community Council will be holding a meeting to discuss their response to Stirling Council proposed plan to breach the Green Belt ( about half a mile from the allotments) between Bridge-of-Allan and Stirling and build 800 houses on what is a flood plain!
