Reality Reset

The forecast was for grim weather so, being a Yorkshire girl, the thing to do was to go out in it and enjoy!

On the car journey it was that wintery sun that decieves you when you have the comfort of windows shielding you, you think it's about ten degrees warmer and that you are going to be dancing round in a hula skirt when you arrive at your destination ( ok maybe I lie a little, but you think you will at least manage without three layers on ). Then I got to Ilkley and realised that this is where they filmed Frozen Planet after all, when I heard officially that it was faked , I had known that all along, we all know West Yorskhire can be the harshest place on the planet when it puts it's mind to it!


A gorgeous walk though, I had really needed to be near some water today ( I suppose I could just have had a bath ) so I got to spend some time by the river. I have been spoilt for Blip choices today and have some striking ones of the river but I love this just for the magic puddle. Was dying to jump in it and make a wish....

I know mine but it's a secret, which is remarkably unfair to ask yours.
