A Walk in the Woods

After last night's revelry, Chris and I took Schuck and escaped into the woods for the afternoon. Once we got past the sledders, hikers, and Christmas tree hunters we were alone and away from everything, with only the hum of the power lines to indicate any civilization.

An afternoon like that is particularly theraputic when gearing up for yet another night of revelry. This time, it was an office party for Chris' company followed by the season's biggest Ugly Sweater Party downtown.

That's what's great about Missoula-a fantastically social town with easy means to get away from it all.
