Sunset at Ipanema

Beautiful day here today so Bb and I walked along the front of Copabana and onto Ipanema and caught this lovely sunset at Arpoador at the start of Ipanema. For a Monday night, lots of people were out taking advantage of the weather and we noticed that there are more tourists around now too. Copa's getting geared up for new year and, of course, the famous firework display and there's a lot of activity down the front with preparations for this. We've done it once, which was fantastic, but are quite happy to be here for Christmas and then up to the north east for January, where I'm working for the month.
