Christmas Carols

Went to the Christmas carol service at the English speaking church tonight and were treated to some beautiful choir singing and even a trumpet accompaniment to some of the carols. We commented that it's the first time we've arrived for Christmas carols in the sun and in daylight and it felt very strange! It was dark in time for the last carol and the lighting of the candles, which made us feel more at home. After the service we had what will probably be our only mince pie this Christmas!
