Mug rack

We've been talking about putting up some hooks for the mugs for some time and Sunday was the day for doing it. As you can see there's some things still to be done, paint the strips of wood etc but the hooks are there and they're holding mugs

There's been quite a bit of discussion about some of the mugs actually, Ant can't believe I have actual Christmas mugs which come out for only a few weeks a year. I quite like the fact that the mugs have been acquired over time and so remind you of past Christmases.

The oldest of these is the penguin mug, probably bought about 1992, the newest the one top right with a bit of a Christmas tree branch just getting in shot, bought a couple of years ago for a song off ebay ........

I'm not sure I'll get away with getting another one this year
