carved head
This head is on the side away from the market place on the church of St Edward the Confessor. Although founded in the fifteenth century the church here was completely rebuilt by the Victorians in the middle of the 19th century. This head is only about 150 years old and somethings gone wrong as it's so weathered, all the other bits of carving are very crisp and new looking
