Haight Asbury this morning, home of the 1960's Hippie revolution, the Greatful Dead and the birthplace of the beat movement. Nice place, faded now and not so alternative as it used to be apparently but a good, friendly laid back vibe and some great shops.
Next we went into Golden Gate park,wandered through and saw the Conservatory of Flowers & the Japanese tea garden then hoppend on a bus up to Lincoln Park (wonder if thats where the group got their name!)
Another big hill up to the Legion of Honour - wandered round the cool art gallery, saw some nice Impressionist stuff then braved the heat again & wandered back down to the hotel.
