Blackboys at World Sailing Championships

Fremantle is currently hosting the World Sailing Championships. Races are being held very close to the shore, the beach and the nearby port.

Great vantage points can be had on the beach, or the breakwaters for the harbour.

These GrassTrees as they are now know are very much part of the Australian counstryside, and are not often seen so close to the beach !!

The weather has turned stormy which made for interesting sailing, and a lesser than usual crowd of spectators.
