It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas......

Haven't blipped for two days - still not organised enough to manage it daily - and a hellish long week at work left me frazzled. I visited a good friend yesterday while Mr H and Jnr Snr were at the football. Me and Jnr Jnr helped to put their tree up and it got me all festive. So ours went up today much to the disgruntlement of Mr H (who would happily put the tree up on Xmas Eve and take it down on boxing day). So it definitely looks like Christmas at our house.

With the Itunes playlist up-dated include Christmas songs I indulged in my great passion at the moment - Baking! I decided this year that life was all work and no play. So I took up a few new hobbies. One was running -I don't particualrly enjoy it and I'm not massively good at it but for a complete exercise phobic I have, this year, completed 3 triathlons and 2 10ks! I am incredibly proud of myself and aim to do even better next year (and hopefully not come last in every event!:0())

The main reason I took up running was because I had taken up baking and if i continued on as I'd started I'd be the size of a house now. I can't really cook (I can cook what Mr H calls 'war food') but have discovered that I'm alright at baking. It might take me hours, but that's ok, and I might cover every surface in the kitchen with icing sugar but it is my biggest stress release at the minute and as a teacher you definitely need one of those.

I'm also quite pleased with the photo - you can just make out a blurry gold ribbon the background - a mini-chocolate cake all wrapped up for a friend and a nice bit of blurring going on - pure fluke!
