Elder Whitewash Natural Stencil

It was very frosty this morning and -1 but by noon it had melted and the temperature was up to 3 , which was enough to get me on the move in the fungus direction. Went to Byron's Pool, Trumpington, Cambridgeshire here where a fish pass has recently been constructed and promises much to improve the environment. I found some Clustered Brackets and a group of deep frozen Honey Fungus on a stump. Then I came to an ash tree with a good coating of Elder Whitewash that had formed a natural stencil with the help of some ivy.
