Chuckanut Sunset

A dear friend is visiting from Pa. for a few days. Her daughter recently moved to Vancouver , B.C. and so my friend is thinking of a move to Bellingham ,Wa. to be closer to her daughter and husband. Her daughter brought her down to Bellingham where we met up. Then I drove her around a bit and we took the scenic Chuckanut Drive road which follows Puget Sound and has gorgeous views of the San Juan Islands. We were so lucky to have good weather to do this drive. We spent the evening floating around in the motel pool chatting away and catching up. Wonderful to think she may eventually move out this way!
