Cosy night in

Well it's only taken us four years to be warm in winter in our own sitting room without the aid of jumpers and blankets. Finally had our fire delivered this week and after a couple of false starts have got it working. As you can see the major amendment needed was making the opening smaller. Not too bad for a couple of foil trays, which is a good thing as I think they'll probably have to do to get us through Christmas before we can sort a permanent solution.

And our Christmas tree has been bought, delivered and decorated.

Perfect for a night in recovering from our first Christmas dinner last night.
