She stayed in her bed til 1am last night. This is a significant improvement on recent nights, although she still woke at 3 and 5.30. But she's still rather full of cold and coughing a lot if she lies down as a result. A little frustratingly, bar a runny nose she's not too bad in the day, but I dont want to chance putting her in the pool today so we're giving swimming a miss.

I finished the redo of our Christmas tree last night - she was delighted when she came down and saw it this morning. She seemed to like it even more than the previous decs!

We're having a lovely steady morning - she's eaten allsorts (but did start with a proper bowl of cereal and some fruit!) and we've had a long bubble bath, followed by lots of bedbouncing and run&chase. She then snuggled into her book corner and we worked through a large pile of books. The past couple of days, she's been developing an attachment to a little pink doll's onesie. She has named it Ellie and is upset if she doesnt know where Ellie is (that was what she cried for at 3am!) - strange little creature! Monkey of course is still best friend.

I'm trying to find some nice things to do this afternoon, and if nothing else, there's a small playcafe near by that is free for December, so we may pop there.
