I've always wanted to be able to make colour splash images...

Having fought with GIMP in the past, I finally bit the bullet again today, and downloaded it onto my new laptop... then googled instructions for making an colour splash image with GIMP... and it worked! It's not perfect, but for a first attempt, I am very, very pleased! :D
