Ancient Light

Yesterday's storm blew away to leave an exceptionally crisp, clear and extremely cold afternoon.

Here, toward sunset we catch a glimpse of the ancient hill fort on the Mither Tap of Bennachie, caught between two of the half dozen or so stones that remain of the Recumbent Stone Circle at Bourtie, between Inverurie and Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.
