Flooding in Swaledale

This is the River Swale at Gunnerside at c13.30 today having burst it's banks at both sides. This is the worst Swaledale flood for some years - down at Grinton the bridge has been closed because it is damaged/unsafe - that is the main route out of the Dale and if it snows tonight then the roads over the moors will be impossible - don't think I'll be going to work tomorrow - trapped in Swaledale.
