President visits St Michael's Primary School

The picture shows from left Mary, Noreen Flynn, President of the Irish National Teachers Organisation, and Maureen McFeeley, teacher and amazing in-service volunteer in Malawi, during the summer.
Today we went to honour the staff, parents and pupils of St Michael's special primary school who were the first school to do a Walk for water, like the children in Malawi and raised enough money to give clean, safe drinking water to over 500 people.
The pic also shows a model of the pump and everyone got a go.
